Specialized in import basil seed (Mang- Lak) for the producers and wholesale market and dried Medjoul dates for both retail and wholesale market in Thailand. Since 7 years. Besides these main items we have partner operations in Rotterdam the Netherlands, regarding the import & export of raw green coffee, cocoa beans, spices, nuts and dried fruit, peanuts, seeds and pulses. This experience goes back to 1974 and is based on a long history of Dutch International trading.

Emiel Bakker is an experienced international trader in soft commodities, with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management. Based in both the Netherlands and Chiang Mai, Thailand,

Emiel has spent the last 30 years facilitating the purchase and sale of a variety of soft commodities on a global scale, including raw coffee and cocoa beans/powder/mass and cocoa butter, organic and conventional spices, oilseeds, pulses, nuts and dried fruit. Throughout his career, Emiel has traveled extensively, gaining a deep understanding of the global market and developing a wealth of experience in dealing with quality issues and salvage parcels.

Emiel is also well-versed in modern quality systems such as BRC, IFS, and FSSC 22000. Prior to his current role, Emiel was a partial owner of one of the biggest organic spice factories in Sri Lanka, where he gained extensive knowledge about organic spices, farming, building production facilitiesand warehouses. In addition, Emiel maintains an office in Rotterdam, one of the biggest ports in theworld.

Emiel is known for his strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as his ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners in the industry. He is also skilled in developing and implementing strategies for maximizing profits and minimizing risks in the global market.

In his personal life, Emiel is passionate about family, married with his beloved wife, having a lovely teenage daughter. They like out and indoor-door activities like padel and horse back riding. And of course good food, particularly the Thai kitchen. He is fluent in Dutch, English , German and can manage himself in French, Spanish and also a bit of Thai. He is proficient in Microsoft Office and various trading software platforms. Emiel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Rotterdam, where he studied international business.

Bee (Nichapha Leewijit)

Bee (Nichapha Leewijit)

Bee who is born and raised in Chiang Mai – Thailand has studied Business Administration at the Payap university in Chiang Mai and also spent 4 years in Sydney Australia during her studies at the Sydney Business and travel academy (SBTA). Bee, a family person and nature lover, is in charge of the care of her son , father and mother. No surprise that good healthy food is an important topic in the Leewijit family. In her spare time she also graduated as Chef de parti at the Thai-Swiss culinary school in Bangkok.

Bee has been directly involved in exporting agri commodities from and to Thailand since 2017. She has successfully exported and imported different commodities such as Basil seed, VHP sugar, dried Medjool dates, raw coffee and cocoa beans to 6 countries across 3 continents since then. Bee has extensive experience in commodity contracting and sales, corporate partnership development, and guiding the company’s expansion into new markets. Bee also have a degree in the Thai cuisine with of course a specialty in mama’s traditional Chiang Mai cooking.
